Hi, I’m Martin

This is the bit where I tell you that I’m an award winning Nottingham wedding photographer who is going to blow your socks off with amazing photos! But getting beautiful photos is a given right?

I believe that your wedding day should be unforgettable—a party your friends and family will be talking about for years to come. My goal is quite simple. To give you a gallery stuffed full of images that show the world what really happened along with some portraits of you both that you’ll want to hang on your wall.

I want you to enjoy every second of your wedding day, with plenty of time to laugh, cry, dance, and soak it all in with your family and friends. After all, I can’t capture authentic, natural photos if you’re not having a great time.

That’s why I focus on creating a relaxed experience for you. In the next section, I’ll share exactly how I approach wedding photography and what you can expect from me. We couldn't be happier with Martin as our wedding photographer! From start to finish, the experience was incredible. Martin was so relaxed and unobtrusive—we barely even noticed he was there most of the day. He captured everything in such a natural, un-staged way, and every single photo reflects that relaxed vibe we were hoping for.We first met Martin when he photographed a wedding we attended in Nottingham. We absolutely loved him and his vibe and knew that, whenever we got married—wherever we got married—we would make sure to have him! So, when we set a date and chose our location in Oxford, we emailed him straight away. Even though Martin isn’t based in Oxford, he was so excited to shoot somewhere different and made everything so easy—it was like he was from there! He made such an effort with both the church and the reception, quickly building relationships to ensure the best possible photos.Martin went above and beyond, arriving early in the morning and staying right until the very end to ensure every special moment was captured. The quality of the photos is absolutely stunning—the editing is natural and flattering, and the filters perfectly enhance the day without feeling overdone.We had heard about the dreaded long wait for wedding photos, but Martin delivered ours in really good time! We originally found Martin through a tip-off from another photographer who was recommended by our venue. We took a quick look at his portfolio and instantly loved the quality and personality of his candid shots, so we decided to get in touch.Things really clicked when we first spoke as he was incredibly fun, experienced and reassuring. We didn't feel the need to look anywhere else, so we made the booking and got very excited about the kind pictures that we might be able to expect. We also went for the option of having a second photographer and would highly recommend doing that if at all possible.On the day, Martin (and Mel) arrived as planned and were absolutely fantastic. We were totally consumed by the occasion, but they managed to both blend into the crowd, as well as command us around at key moments. The group photos were a breeze, they whisked us off for some golden hour shots in the countryside and always seemed to pop up in the background when the best moments of the day were unfolding.The results are truly stunning. Martin sent over a sneak-peek of some of the best pictures the next day, then provided us access to the full set when we returned from our honeymoon a few weeks later. The gallery contains over 800 truly incredible pictures that really capture all of the emotion, laughter and unplanned moments that made our big day so special.I wouldn't hesitate to book Martin if you get the opportunity. We couldn't have asked for a better photographer and we're now looking for an excuse to book him again!

Martin is everything you need from a wedding photographer: Absolutely Perfect.Martin stood out to us as someone who could offer super personal and candid photos, without the need to spend the whole time posing in front of the camera, and he absolutely delivered on that. He was SO fun to be around and put us totally at ease. At no point were we wondering whether he was going to capture the right shot at the right moment: he was always there, in the background snapping away.His extensive experience of weddings was a MASSIVE help on the day and i'm so glad we had him by our side. We couldn't be happier with our wedding photographer! From the very start, we worked together to plan out the shots, which meant that on the big day, everything flowed smoothly without spending much time organizing people. He was punctual, professional, and knew exactly what needed to be done and when. The photos turned out so beautiful and natural, capturing the essence of the day perfectly. Many of our guests commented on how great the photographer was! We now have a wonderful mix of different compositions and views, with so many frame-worthy photos for our album. After our first meeting with Martin, I had every confidence in him and that he could deliver what we asked for in terms of the style of photos we want. I don't know where to start the moment I came across Martin's instagram I knew I needed to have him as our wedding photographer! From the moment of enquiring Martin was an absolute star. Upon booking he had us jumping on a video call to introduce himself and break the ice and also to go over his style and how he works so we could all make sure it's the perfect fit!Martin was fab and said if we had any questions even to do with planning, accommodation recommendations or just anything to pop him a message. His website is super handy with some supplier/accommodation recommendations on for the venues he works at quite a lot.On the big day Martin was nothing short of amazing! He was organised, worked quickly but effectively and we loved the relaxed approach around the whole day he really captured the story and them beautiful raw moments just perfectly and he also brought a lot of fun!We had great feedback both from guests and suppliers he was just phenomenal all round!We got our full wedding album a couple of weeks ago and I was actually lost for words, it's everything we could have dreamed of and more! We are forever grateful to Martin for capturing our wedding so perfectly back in May. From our first zoom chat in 2022, to our engagement shoot, to our wedding day, he has been so communicative, friendly and really took the time to understand us as a couple.
