Charlotte & Stuart – Grangefields

Last August, Daiga & I had the pleasure of photographing Charlotte and Stuart’s wedding at St Martin’s church in Osmaston. The ceremony was particularly special as the father of the bride played the organ, adding a personal touch to the occasion. It was clear from the start that Charlotte’s family had deep connections with the church, as her parents were also married there by the same vicar who officiated their daughter’s wedding.

After a beautiful ceremony, we headed over to Grangefields in Derbyshire for the reception. As a recommended Grangefields wedding photographer, it was an absolute joy to capture such a wonderful event at this stunning venue. The grounds provided a beautiful backdrop for group photos and romantic couple shots alike. After a shaky rainy start to the day, the weather dried up later in the afternoon and we were rewarded with a glorious golden hour then a stunning sunset. I’ll take that anytime!

Throughout the day, it was evident that Charlotte and Stuart had put so much thought and effort into every detail of their big day. From the flowers to the decor, everything was perfectly coordinated, reflected their personalities as a couple and the active lifestyle they both lead.

As their photographer, I felt privileged to have been able to capture all these special moments on camera. It is always an honour to be part of someone’s wedding day, but this one felt particularly meaningful due to my connection with Grangefields and my role as their chosen photographer.

Overall, Charlotte and Stuart’s wedding was a beautiful celebration of love and commitment. I wish them all the happiness in their future together as husband and wife.
