Hi, my name is Martin and I am a Derby wedding photographer living in the East Midlands area. I have been photographing weddings for over ten years. During this time I have been a part of over three hundred weddings.
I am proud to be a recommended supplier to Grangefields and their sister venue Hazel Gap Barn. I am super excited and cannot wait to create memories for happy bride and groom’s at this prestigious new venue.
I am well known for my relaxed candid style of wedding photography. If you hire me as your wedding photographer. I keep my camera equipment purposely to a minimum so I can move quickly to create pictures you can treasure. That being said, as an experienced professional rest assured I do have enough backup flashes, lenses to cope. Should the unexpected arise.
My goal is simple, to capture all the beautiful moments that happen on the day you get married. The tear in your grooms eye as you walk down the aisle. The laughter you share with your bridesmaids. The hilarious best man speech. Trust me to photograph them all for you. Discretely, without falsely staging moments.
about grangefields
Grangefields will be Cripps and Co’s eighth and perhaps most exciting new wedding venue yet! The grand opening was in August 2021, Grangefield is located a short drive away from Derby, in Ashbourne, Derbyshire.
As you would expect from a Cripps & Co venue, this gorgeous countryside location will be renovated to the highest of standards.
The oak room has a capacity for up to 140 people whilst the Dutch Barn can accomodate up to 180 people for your wedding ceremony. An outdoor ceremony can also be held in the sheltered courtyard.
Cripps have a deserved reputation for the best locally sourced, freshly cooked food. I am sure that Grangefields will uphold that tradition and continue to use the finest ingredients.
With an open kitchen in the Dutch Barn, your guests will be able to see their food be freshly barbecued over the open flames. With freshly cooked pizza on offer for hungry guests later in the evening.
Outside in the courtyard, a large Argentinian Asado grill can be used to cook the fresh meats such as beef, pork, chicken an chorizo.
The attention to detail continues with a top of the range, Funktion-One sound system being available for your DJ or band to use to entertain your guests and kick start your party with the best quality music.
With underfloor heating, open fires and candles, you can be sure that Grangefields will be warm all year round.

From the huge glass windows and doors down one side, to the open kitchen at the back and your own bar. The Dutch Barn is the perfect setting to enjoy your first meal together as husband and wife!

Grangefields is just under 20 minutes outside of Derby city centre. Head west out of Derby and towards Markeaton Park. Travel down Ashbourne road through Mackworth. Turn onto Long Lane and Grangefields is five minutes down the road on the left.
